Indonesia B40 Biodiesel Plan would be 'Disastrous' For World
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Reuters) - A top palm oil industry analyst on Tuesday stated Indonesia's prepare for the prevalent use of the B40 biodiesel from next year would be "catastrophic" for the worldwide market, as it would include the extra usage of 1.5 to 1.7 million metric tons of the product.
Oil World senior expert David Mielke likewise said international palm oil production is expected to increase by 2.3 million metric loads in 2024/25 compared to the previous season.
